Brevard County has a rich and diverse history, spanning nearly five centuries of recorded activities that include the earliest European explorations of America and the moment that humans first left this planet to explore worlds beyond our own.

Obviously we have the space program booming in Brevard. 1.6 million people visited the Space Center Visitor Complex in 2008 which has since changed gears after the Obama administration largely defunded NASA. Even still the city officials in Brevard got their heads together and developed a plan for the future. It's almost a weekly event to witness a SpaceX rocket delivering another payload to orbit above.

As of the July 2017 report Brevard is #11 in terms of job growth in the state of FL! We've increased by almost 5% in the past year. The leader experienced %5.35, so we're pretty close to the top! New home construction is at an all time high due to the influx of new jobs which is driving the increase in the labor force. With the members of the workforce conducting their new home search and closing on their new home purchases our inventory is extremely low. We have strict rules for mortgage brokers lending money and the market is certainly healthy and looking strong for the years to come.

Setting sail is an every day occurrence here in the "Countdown County". Port Canaveral is the world's busiest cruise port. There are seven cruise lines, with six major cruise terminals. The Port enjoys large crowds on a regular basis with cruisers arriving early or extending their stay after returning to port. These cruise-goers spend their hard earned cash at many of the local eateries and bars in the immediate area.

The Brevard County lifestyle lends itself to friendly neighbors and beautiful sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful sunsets over the Indian and Banana Rivers. Brevard County is home to outdoors activities galore. With 250 square miles of federally protected wildlife refuge. There are over 150 species of birds to be found here, some of the more common being: sandpipers, sand hill cranes, scrub jays, white pelicans, and the great horned owl.

Our beaches are peaceful, clean and expansive. Unlike many other cities and beach front areas you won't find a sea of parking meters here. We believe in convenience when it comes to your daily visits to the sand. Delivering some of the best waves for surfers along the eastern seaboard our beaches range from sandy bottoms to natural reef bottom providing a variety of greetings to swell making a long trip to the coastline from deep in the Atlantic Ocean.

If you're looking for culture and have a tendency for the arts, Brevard County paints a perfect picture. You'll find local and unique style from Titusville to Sebastian. And the trend is ongoing. There has been a concerted effort to improve upon the existing culture here in Brevard County. Cocoa Main Street, a member of the Florida and National Main Street Programs, works toward restoring business sites in the historic area known as "Cocoa Village". The restored area is a tourist attraction and an economic magnet. Melbourne Main Street is another historic business area and tourist attraction restored through the Main Street Programs. Brevard has five judged art festivals annually attracting tens of thousands of people to art displays. Most festivals are held in the spring or fall when many tourists can attend. The Brevard Cultural Alliance maintains an event calendar and a map of sites of historic, cultural, and ecological interest.
